Job description:
Armed Security Officer
Monday- Friday 8 AM – 5 PM
This position REQUIRES possession of a state Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit. Applicants must meet this requirement to be considered.
 
Position Overview: The Armed Security Officer is responsible for providing a high level of security, protection, and deterrence at designated client sites. This role involves patrolling, access control, incident response, and the responsible handling of firearms in compliance with North Carolina laws, licensing requirements, and industry standards. The officer acts as a visible deterrent to criminal activity, ensures safety, and maintains professionalism at all times.
 
Pay Rate: $15.83 per hour, Plus $4.93 for Health & Welfare

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide security services at assigned site according to the site post order duty requirements
  • Serve as a visible security presence at client locations.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports, as needed.
  • Collaboration with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.
  • Provide customer service driven, professional security services.
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
 
Education and Certification Requirements
  • Must meet Armed Security Guard Requirements for North Carolina.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
 
Other
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide documentation showing authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Employment is conditioned on successful completion of background check and drug screening.
  • If prior military, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer.
 
Hiring bonus (see below for details)
The bonus is paid as follows:
$600.00 on 90 days of continuous employment.
*Restrictions Apply; no call offs and/or no shows, no tardiness, or failure to complete all required reports including proper timekeeping.
